Booking System |
A rota system in which each
owner chooses three weeks per year: two between April and
September inclusive, and one from any other month. The list of
owners rotates in pairs each year giving everyone a chance to
choose their weeks first or second over a six year period.
The boat has maintenance every winter and will be unavailable
for several weeks during this time but all other weeks are
available as extras, priority being given to those at the bottom
of the list.
|
Priority for school holidays |
A
maximum of three sharers can have
"special" status, giving priority booking for school holidays. They
pay a 25 per cent premium on the running costs. |

General Comments by vendor
We have very much
enjoyed our many holidays at all times of the year on this
comfortable and well-maintained boat. Syndicate members come from
all parts of England and several have owned their share since
Debdale was launched. In ten years of our involvement we
have found being part of this friendly and caring syndicate a
pleasure.
As a self-managed boat email is used for keeping in touch, with
documents posted to the owners' secure section of
the Debdale
website. An AGM is held where all aspects of management and future
planning are discussed face-to-face. Recent domestic improvements
include a new sofabed in the saloon with new upholstery at the
dinette to match, two new widescreen Avtech TVs with built-in DVD
players plus built-in Freesat, also new microwave, as well as
regular replacement of domestic items such as duvets and pillows.
The full repaint and re-varnishing carried out over several months
during 2017 winter maintenance has paid dividends. Debdale looks
like a new boat!
