The Scruffy Fox is a very
comfortable John Pinder built boat, which now has the advantage of a recently
modernised galley and shower room (2015) which has much improved
the functionality and appearance of the inside of the boat.
The shareholders are a group of people that have consistently pulled together to make the system work, with all aspects of the management and maintenance of the boat shared, for example there is a person who coordinates the maintenance of the boat, another who allocates the weeks, a treasurer. We have an AGM where we get together to eat, socialise, and discuss and agree various things such as the executive committee, any refurbishments/improvements, and which area the boat will travel in the following year. We have enjoyed being a
member of this very friendly syndicate and my increased work
pressure reluctantly forces a sale. The waters to be cruised
and the week allocations are all agreed very amicably at the
AGM. All syndicate members have an affectionate connection
with boat and are very responsible share owners. |
