Brock offers spacious and flexible accommodation for 2 to 6 people.
Lined throughout in mellow Parana pine with light oak
bulkheads/furniture and contrasting mahogany trim she is heavily
carpeted. Brass fittings and colour coordinated soft furnishings are
shown off by spotlights and gimballed ‘oil’ lights. A selection of
pictures, prints and plates enhance the interior, whilst externally
brass portholes, vents, headlamp and horn, twin chimneys, pigeon
boxes and a large cushioned foredeck area - all declare Brock to be
a luxurious private owner craft.
Engine room
Heavily silenced Lister/Petter Canal Star 36hp engine (new
2003), ‘Aquadrive’ bow thruster, steerers swivel seat, plus cabin
top cushions, storage for wet/dry gear.
Master cabin
A delightful private cabin with portholes, comfortable pretty
canopied ‘Poster’ bed, wardrobe, drawers, en-suite access to
bathroom.
Bathroom
A well-fitted cabin with Victorian blue/white tiles and large
brass porthole, ceramic washbasin, fresh water flush toilet, hip
bath/shower, Alde central heating boiler linked to calorifier.
Dining area/double cabin
‘L’ shaped settee, corner cupboards, drawer storage. A solid
mahogany table is hinged to the bulkhead and can be bolted upright
to provide comfortable single or double berth with privacy from the
saloon by a long hanging drape.
Side hatch
Easy access to shore (Port) with good storage under steps.
Galley
A fully-fitted galley with fridge/freezer, gas oven/grill
(new 2013) and inset 4 burner hob, 1 ½ bowl inset sink/drainer.
Saloon
The light and spacious saloon is decorated with pictures,
plates, gimballed brass lamps. Heating by Brunel solid fuel stove,
set in a tiled surround, or by central heating radiators. Large
comfortable full width ‘L’ shaped settee converts to 2 single
berths. Good drawer storage as well as a hanging
wardrobe and display shelves. Flat screen TV/DVD, stereo radio/CD,
drop leaf table folding chairs enable the saloon to be used as a
dining area. There is good forward vision through the glazed
doors/windows.
Foredeck
The large cushioned foredeck area provides for sociable
picnicking in the sun and easy access to the shore. |
